Who we are

Playam is operated by Amalies Utviklingsfabrikk in Oslo, Norway. We operate playam.app and several game subdomains. Contact us at info@amaliesutviklingsfabrikk.no about privacy, your information or this policy.

This platform and individual games

This is the umbrella policy for Playam. It supplements each game's own privacy policy, which explains the services and data used by that game. Services differ between products: games may use authentication, analytics, multiplayer infrastructure, databases and local storage for preferences, guest identity or game progress.

You can browse the showcase and blog without an account. Your language preference is saved in your browser's local storage. The site uses PostHog analytics through an EU endpoint, configured in cookieless mode, to understand visits and improve the platform. Requests to our hosting provider, Vercel, include technical information such as IP address, browser information and requested URL needed to deliver and secure the site.

If you email us, we use your message and contact information to reply and handle your request. Game accounts, answers and results are governed by the relevant game's additional policy.

Advertising: web and apps

Playam is preparing selected content pages and games for possible future advertising. This preparation does not activate Google web advertising. Before advertising is introduced, we will update the relevant policies with the actual provider, information used and available consent choices.

HitParade and Lesestigen are intentionally ad-free. ISH AI-generated custom quizzes are excluded from web advertising. Mobile apps may have different features and advertising arrangements, including AdMob where described in their own policies; this does not mean Google ads are active on their websites.

Your information and choices

You can clear the stored language preference through your browser settings. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or to ask about other applicable privacy rights. You may also contact Datatilsynet about a privacy concern.

We update this policy when platform practices change and show the revision date above. Individual game policies remain the place to find product-specific details.
